A 16" graduated colour freshwater pearl necklace made for my Mum as a Christmas gift. Made from a loose pearl strand of mixed unsorted natural colours, which I arranged into a gradient and strung on spectra thread. The gradient runs from peach, through creams and whites, to mauves and pinks and back round to peach again at the clasp. There are knots between each pearl, though I kept them quite small and discrete.
Components used: - 6.5-7 mm near-round cultured freshwater pearls - Spectra line (PowerPro Braid) - Sterling silver findings (fish-hook clasp and French wire)
